Case Management Service

We provide a specialist hoarding case management service supporting housing providers, local authorities, and health services to manage high-risk clutter cases safely and effectively.

Our approach focuses on reducing risk, sustaining tenancies, and working collaboratively with individuals and partner agencies.

What we do

We offer structured, professional support to manage complex hoarding situations.

Assessment

We complete structured home assessments, including recognised clutter rating scales, and identify fire, health, and environmental risks alongside safeguarding considerations.

Case Management

We develop clear, realistic support plans tailored to each individual, with a focus on gradual, sustainable change and risk reduction.

Multi-Agency Coordination

We act as a central point of contact, working closely with housing teams, adult social care, GP and mental health services, fire services, environmental health, repair teams, and police where needed.

Engagement

We work directly with individuals using a calm, non-judgemental approach to build trust and encourage participation in support.

Preparation for Clearance

Where necessary, we coordinate appropriate clearance services, ensuring consent, safety, and the right timing for intervention.

Flexible Delivery

Our service is designed to be flexible and scalable.

  • 1 day per week for small caseloads or pilot work
  • 2 to 3 days per week for growing demand
  • Full-week provision for larger or ongoing contracts

This allows organisations to access specialist support based on need, without committing to a fixed full-time resource.

Who we work with

We support:

  • Housing associations
  • Local authority housing and adult social care teams
  • Fire and rescue services
  • NHS and primary care networks
  • Mental health and community teams

Our approach

We focus on:

  • Risk reduction rather than immediate clearance
  • Sustaining tenancies and preventing eviction
  • Supporting individuals at their pace
  • Clear, professional communication across agencies
  • Strong and defensible case recording

Professional standards

The service is delivered with a strong safeguarding focus and an understanding of Care Act responsibilities, risk management, and multi-agency working.
