We’re proud to support individuals, families, and professionals throughout the region with compassionate, discreet, and tailored hoarding support services.

We also intend to expand into neighbouring areas where demand is identified. If you're outside our current coverage zone, please get in touch as we may be able to help or connect you with a trusted partner.

We understand that Councils, NHS Trusts, and other public bodies each operate differently. That’s why we’re committed to making engagement simple, secure, and stress-free.

We offer:

  • Corporate credit card acceptance, including Visa and Mastercard
  • Invoice billing for Direct Payments and commissioned services
  • Contracted service terms for long-term or framework agreements

Our goal is to let you focus on your clients’ needs, while we take care of the logistics with clarity, professionalism, and full accountability.

We work closely with social workers, housing officers, and care coordinators to ensure the best possible outcomes for every client.

Our approach is:

  • Multi-agency and person-centred
  • Guided by discretion, empathy, and respect for privacy
  • Free from hard-sell tactics

Whether you're making a referral or exploring options, we’re here to listen, support, and tailor solutions without pressure.

We believe that trust and transparency are the foundation of effective care.

At Hoarding Helpers, we know that every situation is unique. That’s why our pricing is based on a few key factors, ensuring fairness and transparency:

Extent of the Work

We assess the level of hoarding, size of the property, and any specialised requirements to provide an accurate, personalised quote.

Frequency of Service

Whether you need a one-off visit or ongoing support, we tailor our services to suit your pace, preferences, and goals.

We’re committed to offering clear, flexible pricing that reflects the real needs of each client with no hidden fees, no assumptions, just thoughtful care.

We carry £10 million in Public Liability Insurance, providing robust protection for:

  • Clients and service users
  • Staff and partner teams
  • Properties and environments we work in

This coverage reflects our commitment to operating safely, responsibly, and with full accountability giving you total peace of mind when engaging our services.

Whether we’re supporting complex hoarding cases, property clearances, or multi-agency interventions, you can trust that we’re backed by comprehensive safeguards

We offer flexible service packages tailored to meet the unique requirements of local authorities and hospitals.

Our minimum package includes 60 minutes of support per week, delivered over 6 weeks, and can be customised to include additional services based on need.

With the permission of service users, we donate clothing, bric-a-brac, and other suitable items to local charities.

This approach:

  • Honours emotional connections to personal belongings
  • Promotes sustainability and reuse
  • Ensures cherished items find a new purpose in the community

We take great care to ensure that donations are handled respectfully and transparently, always guided by the wishes of the individual.

It’s not just about clearing space, it’s about preserving meaning, fostering positive legacies, and supporting local causes.

We offer full property clearances tailored to each individual situation. Whether it's a single room or an entire home, our approach is respectful, efficient, and sensitive to the needs of the client.

Flexible, Transparent Pricing

Costs vary depending on:

The volume and nature of hoarded items

Any specialised disposal requirements (e.g. clinical or hazardous waste)

The level of preparation or restoration needed

We provide clear quotes and work closely with clients and referring bodies to ensure expectations are aligned from the outset.

Trusted Partnerships

To deliver a seamless experience, we collaborate with trusted partner companies such as:

  • Rob Muckley Cleaning who works with six Berkshire councils and two NHS trusts.
  • bedflow.co.uk who are working with Reading Borough Council.

We provide clear, structured reports to support Court of Protection case management and wider safeguarding work.

Our reports are available in both:

  • Excel format – for easy data analysis and integration
  • PDF format – for formal documentation and secure sharing

Each report includes professional observations, service notes, and relevant details to assist social workers in making informed decisions.

We understand the importance of accurate, timely documentation in complex cases and we’re committed to supporting multi-agency teams with transparency, consistency, and respect for client dignity.

We provide specialised support for cases involving clinical and offensive waste, including:

  • Medical items and sharps
  • Bodily fluids or contaminated materials
  • Waste requiring licensed hazardous disposal

These materials must be managed under strict safety and environmental regulations, and we ensure full compliance with all relevant guidelines.

Due to the nature of disposal, additional charges apply to cover lawful handling and removal.

However, we offer free no-obligation quotes so you’ll know exactly what to expect with no surprises, no pressure.

At Hoarding Helpers, we understand that hoarding is deeply personal, and reaching out for support can feel overwhelming. That’s why we aim to keep our policies simple, fair, and respectful.

Cancellation Terms

No fee for cancellations made at least 48 hours in advance

A cancellation fee applies only if we are not informed within 48 hours of the scheduled appointment

We know this isn’t just “cleaning.” It’s about rebuilding trust, restoring dignity, and moving forward at your pace. Our team is here to support that journey with sensitivity, flexibility, and care.

If you ever need to reschedule or cancel, just let us know and we’ll work with you.

At Hoarding Helpers, we treat privacy with the same care and sensitivity as the services we provide. Protecting personal information is central to our commitment to dignity, trust, and ethical care.

Secure Data Handling

We use two-factor authentication to control access to sensitive data

Information is shared only with authorised personnel and solely for the purpose of care delivery

All records are stored and managed in line with GDPR and relevant safeguarding protocols

We understand that many clients face complex and vulnerable circumstances. That’s why we ensure that every interaction, record, and referral is handled with discretion and respect

Our hoarding support visits are offered at a fixed rate, which includes:

  • Transport to and from the property
  • Administrative coordination and documentation
  • Decluttering and support services
  • Removal of up to three waste bags per visit (valued at over £24 + VAT)

This straightforward pricing model has been well received by councils, as it promotes clarity, consistency, and ease of commissioning across service engagements.

If a client wishes to progress at a faster pace, we’re happy to provide bespoke quotes for larger weekly disposals, ensuring flexibility without compromising care.

We believe in clear expectations, compassionate delivery, and no hidden costs.

We hold a certified waste carrier licence and guarantee that all waste is disposed of legally, safely, and in full compliance with environmental regulations.

We urge clients to be cautious of unlicensed or unscrupulous operators offering services at £50 per hour or less. These providers often struggle to deliver safe and lawful disposal at such rates. Many are known to fly-tip, exposing clients and public bodies to legal penalties and reputational harm.

Some operators deflect accountability by blaming service user disengagement, using it as a pretext to obscure disposal practices and reduce transparency around costs.

By choosing a licensed and trusted provider like us, you can be confident that:

  • Waste is handled responsibly and ethically
  • All disposal is fully documented and compliant
  • Services are delivered at the pace of the service user, not dictated by profit margins

We prioritise dignity, safety, and transparency—because responsible care doesn’t cut corners.

Yes, we’re absolutely okay with pets! We understand that for many clients, pets are cherished companions, and their presence is part of what makes a space feel like home.

Our team takes a respectful and compassionate approach when working in homes with animals. We’re happy to adapt to your needs by offering:

Pet-friendly scheduling and slower pacing when needed

Extra precautions around open doors, supplies, and equipment

Mindful interactions that respect your pet’s comfort and boundaries

If there are any concerns—such as nervous pets, allergies, or special care instructions just let us know in advance. We’ll make it work.

We’re here to support the whole household, paws and all.

We respect the complexity of hoarding as it’s not simply about clutter. For many, it reflects deep emotional, psychological, and situational challenges. That’s why we take a non-judgmental, therapeutic approach to every case.

While before-and-after photos are common in the industry, we’ve chosen not to capture or display them for the following reasons:

Visual comparisons can oversimplify progress, reducing a nuanced journey to a snapshot

They may undermine therapeutic work, especially when recovery is gradual and deeply personal

They risk reinforcing shame and stigma, which can discourage engagement and trust

Instead, we use a blurred, AI-generated example image to illustrate the type of environments we support without compromising dignity or privacy.

We believe that respect, discretion, and empathy are more powerful than any photo.

Progress is measured in confidence, comfort, and control—not just clear floors.
